Sermon Summary:
As Edge Church celebrates 50 years, Dino reminded us that we are standing on the faithfulness of those who have gone before us. People have prayed, served, given and made sacrifices so that others could encounter Jesus.

But we are not simply called to receive what has been handed to us. We are called to continue the work and help extend the Kingdom to the generations that come after us.

We Have Received, Now We Get to Give
Joshua reminded the tribes who had already received their inheritance that they still had a responsibility to help the other tribes receive theirs.

Dino connected this to our own spiritual journey. We have received because someone else went before us, and now we have the opportunity to do the same for someone else. “When you got saved, God had someone else in mind.” As we grow, we begin to realise that church isn’t simply about coming to be fed. God wants to use what He has given us to help others.

Prepare for What God Wants to Do
Joshua 3:5 says: “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” Dino reminded us: “We cannot always predict a move of God, but we can always prepare for one.”

We don’t know exactly what God wants to do next, but we can prepare ourselves to be ready when He moves. This is where Dino challenged us to “live on green and trust God for the red.” We don’t need to wait for another sign before doing what God has already asked us to do.

Use What God Has Given You
Through 1 Peter 4:10, Dino challenged us to use whatever gift we have received to serve others. God has given each of us something to bring. The question isn’t only “What has God given me?” but: “What am I doing with what God has given me?”

Dino challenged us not to become lukewarm, but to live with spiritual purpose, putting what God has given us to work for the sake of others.
